Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
We shall continue today on the determinants for favour. By that I mean
the factors that provoke exceeding favour or forces that make exceeding favour available. What other factors?5. ADDICTED TO KINGDOM PROMOTION:
To be addicted to Kingdom promotion as a way of life, qualifies anyone for divine favour. The Bible says:
"Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof" (Ps 102:13-14).
You're a kingdom addict when whatever has to do with God turns you on with delight. You're kingdom addict when what moves God moves you. When God sees His kingdom in your heart, His favour will find you on earth. When promoting his kingdom becomes your lifestyle, the time to favour you has actually come.
When promoting his kingdom becomes your way of life; you attract His favour. When you ignore God and His kingdom, his favour eludes you and struggle continues (Haggai 1:3-14). God forbid. Service his pleasure and you will enjoy His favour.
6. BE HONEST:
Honesty is a key to favour. Joseph found favor with Potiphar because he could be trusted. The Bible says: “The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favour with Him” (Prov 11:1). Also in Gen 39, the scripture says: “Joseph found favour in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned” (Genesis 39). Why this favour? He could be trusted. Can you be trusted?
PRAYER: May you be found worthy of the blessing this month, in Jesus name.
