2 Sam 9:7 "And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually."
It is important at this early stage of our teaching series to define favour using a story in the Bible for better understanding. Nothing can be of benefit to us in the kingdom of God without
our understanding. So, to attract Exceeding Favour this month and always, we must understand its meaning. Please read the full story of our text today.Looking at the story of our anchor scripture today, the word favour means: "God placing your concerns in people's heart for immediate solution." Just like the case of King David and Mephibosheth in our anchor scripture today, when God shows you favour, He will trouble the heart of men to meet your needs.
There is a set time for favour (Ps 102:13). When the set time came for God to favour Mephibosheth, He troubled the heart of King David to bless someone in the house of Saul. Mephibosheth was fortunate to be a beneficiary of this favour. I pray for you this morning, your matter shall be planted in the heart of the people that matter for immediate solution this month, in Jesus name.
You don't have to know too many people. You only need someone that is picked by God to favour you. God will connect you to that man or woman who will bear your burden from now on, in Jesus name.
PRAYER: I pray that the same God that troubled the heart of King David for Mephibosheth's sake will trouble your helper today in Jesus name.
