TOPIC: WHAT FACILITATES ANSWERS TO PRAYERS - PT 3

Prov 21:13 "Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard."

If your prayer must return with answers this month and beyond, you must be r
eady to be blessing to people around you. If you expect God to bless you more, be willing to bless other people with what God has given to you.

In today's texr, God says if you pay no attention to other people's needs, why should He pay attention to your needs? This means, the secret to His blessing is to be a blessing to other people. If you ignore those who are in need around you, why will you expect God to bail you out when in similar situations? The Bible says "And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight" (1John 3:22).

What are His commandments? The very next verse tells us: "And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment" (vs 23). One of the ways to obey His commandments is to love other people. Verse 17 says "But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?" God blesses you so that you can a blessing to others.

You are a channel. Don't ask God to bless your business if you're not willing to support the kingdom work. If yoou ask God for good health, what are you going to do with that healthy body? Are you seeking for job or promotion? Is it so you can be of help to other people or to enrich yourself the more? One of the conditions that facilitates answered prayer is to be willing to help those in needs with the blessings you have.
