TOPIC: WHAT FACILITATES ANSWERS TO PRAYER - PT 5

James 1:6-7 "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord."

Another condition for answered prayer according to the above text is, you must Pray in faith. "For let not that man expect that he will
receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways" (vvs 7-8). You must not be a double-minded if you must be full of answers. Don't wave between faith and doubt, belief and unbelief.

Inadequate faith is one of the busters of prayer! Before you kneel to pray, do you really believe that is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that yoy ask or think (Eph 3:20). If your prayers have clouds of doubt hanging over them, they won't return with answers. So, you either pray, believing, and receive or you pray, doubting, and receive nothing! If your prayers are to be effective, there must be no doubting of His power, His love, His wisdom, or the integrity of His character in your heart. This is the primary step in praying.

"Lack of faith lies at the root of all unanswered prayers." Jesus answered and said unto them, "Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive" (Matt 21:21-22). Our faith is not to be in the answer but in the Answerer of prayer (God). Putting our faith in any object other than God is more of foolishness.

PRAYER: Every cloud of doubt in your mind is rolled away today. Your answers are arriving now, in Jesus name.
