PERSISTENCY IS KEY TO ANSWERED PRAYERS

James 5:16 ”Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

As we are rounding up for the month, I must let you know that answers to prayers are products of tenacity in the spirit. Hey! Life won't give you what you deserve but
what you demand. You must not stop demanding until you are given. A lot of believers today give up on God too soon. The devil wouldn't let you have what you ask; it’s you that won’t let him have his way in your life. Be tenacious in the spirit to get your answers this year.

To be tenacious is to be firm, to persist or to hold fast. You can’t get answers unless you are ready to hold fast to what you believe. You must persist in prayers to the point where the devil will give up on you. Elijah was a man of like passion as we are. He prayed “EARNESTLY” that the heaven should not give rain for three and half years and there was no rain in Israel. He prayed again and the heaven gave rain.

But we have a record of what he did. In 1Kings 18:42-44, the Bible says: “So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees. And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand..." Do you see? He did not give up until he got what he wanted. Are you considering of giving up? You must persist if you must receive answers.

PRAYER: I decree today, the grace to stay on to the point of answers is coming on you now in Jesus Name!
