SECRET TO ANSWERED PRAYERS - PT 5

Eccl 5:20 "For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart."

One of the secrets to answered prayer is what I call: "A lifestyle of Joy." Many have lost their miracles due to lack of joy. Hey! It is not enough to pray, we must pray with the expectation to receive answers from God. But expectation in itself is not enough too. We must ensure
that we are expecting answers from God with joy and gladness. This is because it is joy and rejoicing that guarantees returns on our expectations.

When you're sorrow-free, you become ‘testimony full.’ It is not just praying that counts, but praying with joy and gladness because wherever joy is lacking, there can't be harvest. The Bible says: "The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men (Joel 1:12).

Looking at the scripture also, we understand that God remembered Hannah and gave her a son, Samuel when her countenance ceased to be sad (1Sam 1:13-19 ). Abraham did not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief, but he was full of joy, giving glory to God (Rom 4:20). The reason why you have not seen answers is because of sadness of the heart. I admonish you today to: "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice" and your long awaited answers will manifest.

PRAYER: I curse every trace of sorrow and sadness in your life that has hindered your answers hitherto, in Jesus name.
