Psalm 37:4 "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."
As we gradually draw to the end of the month, I have discovered that many people have woken up to the fact that they need to pray and many others are actually praying but unfortunately only few of the people that pray know how to take delivery of their answers. What is the need of the effort we put into prayer when we don't know how to take delivery of our answers? The Holy Spirit wants to open our eyes to a simple secret to answerred prayer that many of us have neglected. The secret is in our anchor scripture above.
It says: "Delight thyself also in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of your heart." Do you want your desires to be delivered? What did He say you should do? Delight Yourself in the Lord. To delight means to get excited! Until you are excited you cannot take delivery of your awaited answers. To delight also means to express joy. Many answers are withered in the field because joy is withered from the sons of men (Joel 1:12).
Bishop David Abioye said: "When you pray, God registers you; but when you get excited, God remembers you." Many are forgotten because they don't give joy a chance in their lives. Joy is the spiritual force with which we draw answer to our prayers into physical manifestation. Do you want God to remember you for the release of your desired answers? Then get excited.
PRAYER: Be imparted with the spirit of joy today, in Jesus name.
