ENEMY OF ANSWER TO PRAYER - ALTERNATIVES

Hebrews 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Pressure inevitably comes at some points in our life.
For instance, you could find yourself in an impossible deadline, a financial need or a ministry challenge, etc. The weight of the things we carry can at times appear to be beyond us. And when pressures of life find their way into our life, they seem to cloud our vision of God and you're left with alternatives.

Beloved, having alternatives is somewhat telling God, “let’s see if you can get this done, otherwise I have another option to consider.” The truth is, God wants to be your plan A-Z. He wants to be the only one on your consideration list. He told Moses categorically in Exodus 20:3: “Thou shall have no other gods before me.” If you think God is not up to it, it’s time to take your eyes off Him completely. Maybe do it your way instead because He won’t show up when He knows you only consider Him an option.

Will God jump down from heaven to provide answers to our prayers? No. Does He use men? Yes, He uses men He chooses as channels. The truth is, we can’t focus on two destinations. It’s impossible. You can’t drive to two places at once.  And that is exactly what we are attempting to do while expecting answers from God. We say we are looking unto Him for answers, yet that enticing channel pulls us off our course. Guard yourself against this!

PRAYER: The Bible says: "They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed." That shame will not come, in Jesus name.
