Ezra 8:23 (NLT) "So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer."

We understand that prayer and fasting, among others, is ordained for our empowerment into next levels according to scriptures. It takes power to experience next level and prayer and fasting provides that. But what are the benefits of prayer and fasting?

As a reminder, we mentioned that it is ordained for our empowerment, facilitates fulfillment of prophecies and gives access to divine guidance. What more?

* It enhances answers to prayer:

The scripture says: "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am..." (Isaiah 58:6&9).

The fundamental reason why we pray is to get answers. No point praying if you are not expectant. It is fasting and prayer that gives us access to answers. "Then you shall call, and the Lord shall answer..." This makes it clear that you and I are entitled to answers on the altar of prayer and fasting.

PRAYER: All your prayers this season shall return with answers in Jesus name.

If you want us to pray with you, call us between 12noon and 5pm on: +2348167589854.
