(PRAYER AND FASTING DAY 8 )

Isaiah 58:6 "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of  wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every  yoke?"

There are benefits one enjoys on the altar of prayer and fasting. One of such benefits includes:

* Loosing the bonds of wickedness

You must understand that for the wicked to give up their wickedness, the God of vengeance has to show up. Pharaoh refused to release the children of Israel until vengeance came by the mighty Hand of God. God instructed every Israelite to put the blood on their door posts and lintel. He passed through Egypt and killed every first born of both man and animal.

Pharaoh was forced to release Israel. Hallelujah. God will do same for you this season in Jesus name. In Isaiah 58:6, today's text, God proposed fasting as a means to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free and to put an end to slavery. Therefore, prayer and fasting is not just a religious exercise but an avenue for incurring God’s vengeance.

I want you to realise that the devil is not ready to give up! No, not without a mighty Hand of God. God Himself said: "And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand." So we engage the mighty Hand of God via prayer and fasting. The scripture says "But the kingdom of God suffers violence and only the violent take it by force." We are taking our possession by force.

PRAYER: The God of vengeance will appear in your case this week, in Jesus name.

If you want us to pray with you, call us between 12noon and 5pm on: +2348167589854.
