(PRAYER AND FASTING DAY 11)
1Cor 15:10 "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
Spiritual exercise, which includes prayer and fasting, is profitable in all things because it impacts on every aspect of our lives. It is one of the commandments of scriptures designed for our profiting. These include:
* Grace:
What is grace? Grace is the enabling power of God given to man to do or go beyond the natural. It is supernatural accomplishment in man. Grace is God working in you to achieve the unimaginable. This shall be your testimony this year, in Jesus name.
We saw this grace at work in the life of the Lord Jesus Christ when He returned from the 40 day-prayer and fasting. His level of command changed sporadically. He became a wonder to behold. The Bible in Luke 4:14 says: "And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about."
Paul the Apostle, in today's text testified of the grace of God as the force behind his great feats in the kingdom. But he was a man given to fasting. The Bible says this about him: "In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, IN FASTINGS OFTEN, in cold and nakedness."
That was the summary of a man that enjoyed unusual grace of God.
PRAYER: I pray for you today, you shall explode in the unusual grace of God this year like never before culminating in supernatural accomplishments in Jesus name.
If you want us to pray with you, call us today between 12noon and 5pm on: +2348167589854.
