(PRAYER AND FASTING DAY 12)

Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with  wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

We understand from scriptures that certain miracles don't just occur.
Rather, they are provoked by engaging some kingdom mysteries which includes prayer and fasting, for speedy delivery. For instance, when Jesus' disciples asked Him why they could not cure the lunatic, He said: "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting" (Matt 17:21). This means prayer and fasting is a vital tool in the hands of the believer for the delivery of his/her desired miracle. So, what other benefit of prayer and fasting?

* Fresh oil

Just like it takes fresh oil to keep the engine of your car in top gear, you and I also require fresh oil to keep our spirit-man buoyant and vibrant. That is what prayer and fasting offers. Today's text says: "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles..."

To "Wait upon the Lord" here means prayer and fasting. That means prayer and fasting empowers the renewal of the oil of God on our heads so that we can mount up with Wings as eagles in our spiritual walk with God. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Receive fresh oil on your head today in Jesus name.

If you want us to pray with you, call us today between 12noon and 5pm on: +2348167589854.
