Esther 4:16 "Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish."
There is something for you in every commandment from God. There are returns for seeking the face of God in the place of prayer and fasting.
This has been our focus since we began our fast. What other return do we enjoy in addition to what have mentioned so far?
* It enhances our capacity to receive from God
There are some things you want God to do for you but the question is are you willing to pay the price on the altar of prayer and fasting? This was the secret of Esther in today's text. If you cannot overcome the power of your belly, tell me, how do you want to overcome the power of a demon?
There are some things you have been trying to change in your life which you have been praying about for months or even years to no avail. I tell you today as you engage in fasting, answers will come because fasting increases your capacity to receive.
It makes you solely and completely open to God and that was why the first act of Jesus here on earth was fasting. If you have not productively engaged since we began this spiritual exercise, make a decision today so as to enjoy the benefits thereof.
PRAYER: Receive capacity to attract the things you desire for this year in Jesus name.
