Gen 39:9 "There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?"
God’s favour should not be the ultimate desire you should have but what it take to operate consistently in it. I want you to know that God doesn't want you to just enjoy His favour for a while.
When you know what to do and you are doing it, you will long enjoy His favour.
Joseph is one person in scripture that enjoyed consistent favour of God. Even while he was in prison, he never lacked it.
What can we do to enjoy consistent favour?
(1) BE FAITHFUL:
In Proverbs 28:20 the Bible says: “A faithful man shall abound with blessings; but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent." Joseph's faithfulness to keep God's standard secured his consistent favour with Him. He said “How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? (Gen 39:9). A faithful man will not do anything that goes against God's word and he will not forget his service to God. Beloved, wisdom demands that you should keep doing what you did to secure the favour of God in order to sustain it.
(2) RECOGNIZE YOUR ROOT:
The Bible says: “And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved” (Hos 12:13). Looking at the story of Joseph, after God blessed him in a strange land, he did not forget his root. A branch that is cut off from a tree will die a natural death. When God blesses you don’t forget your root. To all who has supported MTD vision, receive your rewards now in Jesus Name.
PRAYER: The oil of favour will never run dry in your life in Jesus name.
