Mark 4:11 "And He said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these are done in parables"
I want to remind you this morning that favour is a mystery. It is a mystery of God to end the misery of man. Favour is given to man to gain mastery over issues of life.
Labour without God's favour can end the life of any man in misery. So, favour is the antidote to man's misery.
Favour is a mystery because it goes beyond man's calculation, manipulation or connection. How could Joseph, a prisoner yesterday become a governor today without lobbying for it? It is the mystery of God's favour at work upon him.
However, the mystery of favour is reserved for those in the kingdom. This means those outside the kingdom cannot access God's favour. Those outside the kingdom are those the Bible refers to as dogs. "For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie" (Rev 22:15).
Dogs in this context are those who return to their vomit. "But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again... (2Pet. 2:22a). They are those who constantly visit the habits they once left. These kind of people are far from the favour of God. Amend your way today if you are one and you will enjoy favour unlimited.
PRAYER: Every ungodly habit that wants to imprison your life is dead today in Jesus name.
