HOW TO ATTRACT GOD'S FAVOUR - PT 1

Acts 2:47 "Praising God, and  having favour with all the  people. And the Lord  added to the church daily  such as should be saved."

I want to start by saying that life is not all about labour, but it is the function of favour. This is because not all that laboured are favoured. All men are born equal, but all men are
never equal. Why? When favour rests upon a man, no matter his position in the family, his older ones will respect him because of the favour on his life (Eg. Joseph and his brothers). This week the favour of God will mark you out in Jesus name.

Favour is God making you what no man ever thought you could be. There is no one favoured by God that does not make a difference in life.

It is vital to know that favour can be attracted. If you seek it you can find it. There are certain things you can do to bring the favour of God upon your life. This shall be our focus this week. To attract God's favour:

1: ENGAGE IN THANKSGIVING PRAISE

Praise is a powerful tool in provoking God’s favour. The early Church was praising God and they enjoyed the favour of God. You can't be a praiser and engage in murmuring. When you murmur, you limit God and favour will be far from you (Read Num 11:1).

Herod’s daughter had danced before Herod. He was so pleased with her dance that he told her to ask him for anything she desired, even to the half of his kingdom. Favour was released as a result of her dance. I encourage you today to “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his counts with praise this week and you will flow in the dimension of favour that will leave you dumbfounded (Ps 100:44).

PRAYER: This week the favour of God will mark you out in Jesus name.
