2 Samuel 9:3 "And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet."

We live in the kingdom where the favour of God is superior to the labour of man. To achieve anything meaningful, favour is the secret. There is a limit to where your labour can take you. God's favour has
no limit to where it can take a man. Your lifting this month won't have anything to do with your efforts, it will be by the favour of God.

The understanding you have about this subject matter determines your profiting. When we say favour, what do we mean?

(A) MAN'S WILLINGNESS TO HELP.

When the favour of God is at work in your life, men will be willing to assist you. They will be willing because God will plant your matter in their hearts. Favour is God planting your issues of concern in the heart someone for help. This was the case with Mephibosheth in today's text.

There is a set time for God's favour. When the set time came for God to favour Mephibosheth, God planted his concern in the heart of David. David was under pressure in looking for him because God's favour was at work. He said: "Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?" (2Sam 9:1).

I have good news for you this morning, your own David will locate you this month. Your case may be as terrible as this poor crippled, the God who showed him favour will pick you from your dunghill and make you to sit with kings this month in Jesus name.

PRAYER: The same God that planted the matter of Mephiboseth in the heart of the king for favour will do same for you this month in Jesus name.
