IMPORTANCE OF FAVOUR

Gen 3:21 "And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty."

It is important that we all know the importance of favour. Your knowledge of why favour is important will help you to crave for it in prayer. It is an established fact that favour is superior to labour. Labour has its place but labour alone
is not enough to achieve destiny. It takes the Hand of God via His favour to achieve great destiny. A good example of this truth is the story of Joseph in Egypt (Gen 39).

Favour is important because your labour can only do for you what any other person can do for himself. Labour is limited but favour is unlimited. Favour can put in your hands in one day what labour cannot give you in one year (Eg. Mephiboseth - 2Sam 9).

Can you imagine how much labour it would have required to transport Mephiboseth to the palace of king David? It is practically impossible for him to have achieved that by labour alone. But the favour of God did it for him. The favour of God will do same for you this month in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER: I prophesy on you today that this month you will break barriers, you will cross lines and you will excel beyond your imagination at the instance of favour of God in Jesus name.
