Luke 1:26-35, 2:52.
We have been talking about the empowerment of the Holy Ghost
for prosperity. Meaning, without Power, there cannot be consistent prosperity.
Power is good, but there are things that enhance Power to deliver. What will
enhance the Power you carry to deliver is our focus today. Power as good as it
is, does not completely guarantee your prosperity. How do I mean,
you ask. Lend
me your heart and mind for this truth that you will know today shall make you
free. “And ye shall know the truth, and
the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).
Power is good, but what enhances Power is FAVOUR. Favour is
a mystery. It cannot be orchestrated by human effort. A man of Power will do
the work, but a man of Favour will reap the harvest. Therefore, I urge you to
be diligent to add to your Power, Favour. As you seek for the Power of the Holy
Ghost to prosper, do not forget that Favour is a harvester, it gets you the
harvest. Power gets the work done, but favour gets you the harvest. A man of
Power can make things happen, but it takes a man of Favour to harvest. The
reason is because; Power is from you to others while Favour is from others to
you.
A man of Favour may not be a man of Power:
“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift,
nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to
men of understanding, nor yet FAVOUR TO MEN OF SKILL; but time and chance
happeneth to them all (Eccl.9:11). Power must go along with favour or else,
you will plant and not reap. A man of favour is blessed. When you are favoured,
your power(anointing) becomes marketable. Power without Favour is not enough.
Power gives blessing, but Favour brings blessing. “And La’ban said unto him (Jacob), I pray thee, if I have found Favour
in thine eyes, tarry: for
It does not matter what you do to a man of favour. It turns
back to him as a blessing . “But as for
you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass,
as it is this day, to save much people alive (Gen.50:20). Favour changes
embarrassment into shout of praise.
A look at the scripture tells us that all the great men in
the Bible that made record were men of Favour. We shall mention these men/women
for clarity.
1.
Noah –
“… But Noah found grace (Favour) in the eyes of the LORD” (Gen 6:7-8).
2.
Abraham-
“… And said, My Lord, if now I have found Favour in thy sight, pass not
away, I pray thee, from thy servant” (Gen.18:1-3)
3.
Samuel- “
And the child Samuel grew on, and was in Favor both with the LORD, and also
with men” (1 Sam.2:26)
4.
David-
1Sam 16 from verse 1 shows how David was Favoured. However, he was the least,
but Favour made him the chosen king.
5.
Ruth-
Ruth was favoured though a Moabites’ woman. She was counted among the lineage
of our Lord Jesus (Ruth 1-4).
6.
Esther- She
obtained Favour before King Ahasuerus. The King loved her above all other
women. (Esther 2:15-16).
7.
Our Lord
Jesus Christ- He increased in wisdom and stature, and in Favour with God
and man (Luke 2:52).
8.
The early
Apostles- They continued daily in one accord… Praising God, and having
Favour with all the people (Acts 2:46-47).
It is my prayer that as these men
were favoured, your own set time of favour has come In Jesus Name. Jesus did
not depend on Power, He was Favoured . So also, you shall find Favour with God
and men this year.

It is not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth , but of God that showeth mercy....hardwork without favour equals frustation...it is the favour of God that makes the difference
