ACCESSING THE TREASURES IN GOD'S WORD

JOSHUA 1:8; PROV. 25:2.

There are treasures in the word of God. Just as you cannot enjoy the full benefits of an electronic you bought until you go through the manual, so also  the fullness of life cannot not be enjoyed if you fail to go through the Bible, the word of God.

Going through the bible daily has a lot of benefits. It takes a diligent and careful search of a miner to discover the resources hidden in the ground. It takes your diligent and careful

search of the scriptures to access the treasures in it. God’s word is full of Power. (Luke. 5:17). You will remember the bible says where the word of a king is, there is power. (Eccl. 8:4). So the bible is not a book stories rather it is a book of mysteries (Matt. 13:11). His word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Heb.4:12).

The bible is given for the purpose of building us. The bible says “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32). If the world was framed by God’s word, then your own world can also be framed by the word of God.

You may be shocked to hear this. Whatever God wants to say, He has said. Whatever He wants to give, He has given. And whatever He wants to do, He has done. These things are packaged in the scriptures. Your future is determined by the amount of the scripture you know. How to access these treasures is my focus in this life-changing sharing.

·        CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE OF HEARING GOD’S WORD – Joshua 8:34-35.

An atmosphere of hearing God’s word is an atmosphere of miracle. Accessing these treasures is a faith business. If faith is the key to use in accessing these treasures, you must deliberately create an atmosphere to hear it. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Rom. 10:17). Do all you can to present yourself where God’s word is being taught. The more you hear it, the more faith is built in you.

·        THINK ABOUT IT ALWAYS – Phil. 4:8; Jer. 6:19; Eph. 3:20.

You are a product of your thought. What you think is what you become. The bible says “For as he thinks in his heart so he is….” (Prov. 23:7). Think on God’s word daily. To think is to imagine. “Imagination” is “image-formation” Form an image of the promises of God in your heart. Men that cannot think will soon sink. Don’t be a victim of such. You have the power to create success in your life through your imagination. Take time to read again the story in Gen. 11. The bible says nothing shall be restrained from them that they imagined to do. (Gen. 11:6). Consider the word of God. Ponder over it and let the treasures in it sink into your heart and you will be glad you did. For further study read Rom. 4:19.
