UNDERSTANDING THE NEED FOR GOD'S INTERVENTION

TEXT: "Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee" (Psalms 32:9)

Understanding is the key behind any outstanding endeavour in life. To run with any given prophecy, understanding is required. This month of February is the month that God shall do His quick and sudden work in our lives. I need you to believe God with me concerning that concern of your life this month, it shall turn to you as a testimony, in Jesus name. 

I want to let you know this morning the reason why you and I need God's intervention.

1. We need God's intervention because there are occasions in life when no one wants to help, not even people that are very close to you. King David pointed out that it is possible for even your biological parents to fail you in times of need. He said: "When my father and mother forsake me then the Lord will take me up" (Ps 27:10 ). So, it is a scriptural fact that there will be occasions in one's life when nobody wants to help you. This is why God's Intervention is needed.

2. We need God's intervention because there are also occasions in life when those who want to help you may fail you. The Bible says: "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee" (Isaiah 49:15). So, you may have the people that want to help you but fail you due to one reason or the other. When there was a bomb explosion at Ikeja in Lagos Nigeria, we heard of a lot of women who abandoned their sucking children to run. Hear me child of God, you may have those who want to help you but fail you for reasons best known to them. But we have a God that will never fail, that's why we need Him to do His sudden work in our life this month.

3. We need God's intervention because still there are occasions in life when what you need is beyond the ability of man to help. The promise of God is that when you are passing through the rivers He will be with you, when you are passing through the water it won’t overflow you. He said even when you are passing through fire; the fire will not burn you because He will be there by your side! (Isaiah 43:2).

So, there are occasions when nobody wants to help you. There are occasions when those who want to help you fail and there are occasions when it is beyond human ability to help you. In all these cases you need God's intervention. Whatever category you fall into, God shall cause a sudden intervention in that area of your life this month, in Jesus name. 

Lift your hands and make a demand on God for sudden intervention in your life this month, in Jesus name. 

PRAYER: Testimony and of sudden intervention of God in your life has just been confirmed, in Jesus name. Congratulations.

 

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
