GOD CAN TURN THINGS AROUND

TEXT: "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts" (Mal 3:1)

We serve Jehovah God that can turn things and anything around suddenly. His power of sudden intervention is not limited to certain areas of our existence. He can heal your body, He can restore your broken relationship and bring your runaway wife/husband back home, He can end that crises in your life, etc. His power to intervene in our affairs is unlimited. 

Can God turn our finances around? Can He turn things around suddenly for those who are so poor that they are already thinking of trying other gods? Can He turn things around for those who don’t even know where they will get the next meal from? Yes, He can! In 2Kings 4:1-7 is the story of a widow who was destitute, they wanted to sell her two sons in order to pay a debt owed by her husband who was no more alive to help. The neighbours were very friendly but they couldn’t help either because they were also poor. How do I know? They had plenty of empty vessels, vessels that were supposed to be full of oil were empty! They loved this woman but they could not help her in her condition because they were as poor as herself. Maybe that is your situation this morning. 

What did she do? She ran to Elisha and Elisha himself had no money to give to her but God of sudden intervention steppe in . Someone you're reading this message today, you're almost giving up on your faith because of the money you owe - House rent, school fees, loan, etc, God is going to intervene in your finances this week. He will turn things around for you. There is someone who can and who will supply everything that you need, His name is Jesus!

What about that marital issue? When you look into the story of Hannah in 1Samuel 1:4-20, we find out that her husband loved her. He wanted her to have children like the other wife but the husband was helpless. He couldn’t help. The barrenness of Hannah was not due to her husband because the other wife had children. The other woman in the house did not even want Hannah to have a child. She didn’t wish her well. Even Eli the Pastor, the one who is supposed to be compassionate didn’t even understand her problem. When the woman was crying out to God, her Pastor thought she was drunk! So, the husband couldn’t help, the other woman didn’t want to help; the priest didn’t even understand, but God intervened! Whatever is that issue in your life, Jehovah overdo will show up suddenly and turn things around for you this week, in Jesus name. 

PRAYER: I see a sudden intervention concerning that situation in your life this week, in Jesus name. 

DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2022, I am more than conqueror by the Power of the Holy Spirit therefore I will continue to celebrate all through the year, hallelujah!
