Exodus 21:2 "If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing."

In the above chapter of the Bible is the story of God issuing a command to the children of Israel to release all the slaves on the seventh year. I like to mention here that freedom from slavery guarantees
All Round Rest. A man in prison cannot enjoy rest. A man under bondage does not know what true rest is. Remember the story of the Israelites in Egypt (Exo 1-3). You need to be free to enjoy complete rest.

Something caught my attention in the above verse. The Bible says six years shall the slaves serve; and he shall go free on the "seventh." It stopped at the slave shall go free on the seventh without adding the year. There is a reason for that and that reason is, What comes after seventh is dependent on the faith of the individual. Some people's freedom from slavery could be in the seventh year while some will be in the seventh month, week or day; yours is dependent on the level of your faith. You can decide when your freedom would be.

More so, freedom is the cry of every captive. But I must say this that freedom does not answer to cry, weeping or wailing; freedom answers to a key. A man in the cell needs the right key to gain freedom. The key here is the key of knowledge. It makes freedom a reality. The more you know, the freer you become.

We are in the last days when the knowledge of God shall increase as the waters cover the sea, and then there shall be no more hurt (Isaiah 11:9). In this seventh month of the year, you are entitled to freedom that guarantees All Round Rest but according to your knowledge. You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). How do you acquire the knowledge that guarantees freedom? It comes through diligent study of the word.

PRAYER: Receive hunger for the word to access keys to your freedom in Jesus name.
