Matt 11:28 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

I want to let you know this morning that All Round Rest is available to you through the Word of God, which is its source. The word of God is the true source of rest. The scripture makes it clear that Jesus is the Word of God manifest.

The Bible says:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men" (John 1:1-4).

Jesus Christ is the word of God personified. As pointed out yesterday, absolute rest is found only in Christ Jesus; any alternative that the world may offer will only be temporary. It may work for a short while but ultimately, it will fail woefully. Why not embrace a permanent solution then? The permanent solution lies solely on the Word of God (Jesus Christ) which will guarantee you all-round rest.

There are many with heavy laden today; they are only covering up. Jesus alone is our burden Bearer. No one else can carry your burden except the Lord Jesus. It doesn’t matter what the burden is, whether it is financial hardship, delay, disappointment, or childlessness, Jesus says, “Come unto me…and I will give you rest.” Jesus is simply saying "I am determined, set and ready to give you rest if only you will let me.”

You have a duty to perform by coming to Jesus. You have to get connected to God by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour to enjoy All Round Rest. If you are not yet born again and you desire to do so right now, pray this prayer with faith in your heart:

"Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins and cleanse me with your Blood. I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for delivering me from sin and satan to serve the living God and thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom."

Congratulations!

PRAYER: That burden is lifted off your shoulders today and forever, in Jesus name.
