1Kings 8:2 "And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month."
It is encouraging to see all the men in Israel assembled themselves unto Solomon in the seventh month when you have proper understanding of his background. He had an unpleasant background, yet,
God chose to make him the wisest and the richest man of his days. He was an illegitimate son, one who was not an heir to the throne. The event in the above text was recorded to let us know that our background is not bad enough to put our back on the ground.

I encourage you beloved, you may be down today but don't stay down. Make deliberate effort to be up and constantly gaze at yourself in the mirror of God's word. Solomon by tradition, was not the heir to the throne; yet he inherited the throne. Hey! Your background is not bad enough to put your back on the ground.
Solomon had a rough background, but he became someone who the whole Israel gathered to celebrate. He organized a feast. A feast connotes an elaborate party where people are fed and have leftovers. This was the story of a man that had unpleasant background. You may not have enough to live on today, the good news is, the same way God turned the story of Solomon, He will do same for you this month in Jesus Name.
Your background is not bad enough to put your back on the ground. You are been fed today, never mind, you shall feed multitudes tomorrow. You may not have enough today, you shall have more than enough tomorrow. Or perhaps, you may not have a child now, you shall become a joyful mother/father of children. Let this truth rule your life from today. You're greater than Solomon in the making, so I say to you "rejoice"!
PRAYER: This is your season of celebration in Jesus name.
