Luke 24:49 "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."

Many people are living in frustration today trying to figure out why what they dreamt about is not working out. Beloved, take it from me today that you
cannot fulfil God’s dream for your life in your own strength.

Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.’ (John 20:21-22). Jesus knew that for the disciples to accomplish their divine  assignment, they needed to be empowered, the reason He breathed on them.

The assignment God has for your life is always going to be greater than you can accomplish in your own strength. You cannot complete it alone, in the arm of the flesh? No. You need the empowering of the Holy Spirit.

The good news is, God has provided His Spirit and everything that you need ahead of time by His command. God told Elijah to: "Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee (1 Kings 17:9).

I'm saying to you this morning, don't let fear and intimidation steal your dream and your assignment for God this year. Let God enlarge your dreams. And instead of shrinking back, receive a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit for what is ahead. The Holy Spirit is always standing by to give you all that it takes to fulfill divine assignment.

PRAYER: I pray that the power of the Holy Spirit that will cause you to bring forth God's given assignment for your life shall indwell you this month and beyond in Jesus name.
