Acts 1:8a "But ye shall receive power, AFTER that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:..."

I want to let you know today that having power as children of God is not optional as this is the only way we can demonstrate our
dominion over the works of darkness. Jesus received the Holy Ghost when He was baptized in river Jordan; He was driven into the wilderness so He could be empowered to fulfill destiny. He defeated the devil when He was tempted because He had been empowered to do so (Matt 3:16-17; Lk 4:1-14).

Beloved, there can never be a genuine power without the Holy Ghost. You can only receive power AFTER the Holy Ghost comes upon you. Not before. Peter denied Jesus in fear before the arrival of the Holy Ghost. But the same Peter stood to preach Jesus boldly and 3000 souls were saved. The difference between the Peter that denied Jesus in fear and Peter that preached Him with boldness is Power of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2).

When the Holy Ghost came, power came and when power came boldness came. One of the proofs of power of the Holy Ghost is boldness; for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of boldness...(2Tim 1:7). Whenever the Holy Ghost is said to come upon an individual, what it results to is POWER. Acts 10:38 says God anointed Jesus with HOLY GHOST and POWER.

Beloved, you must crave to be drenched in the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues this month to see the manifestation of this power in your life. If you want that experience, lift your hands where you are now and say "Father, fill me with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues."
