As we round up the subject of supernatural multiplication today, I want to leave you with this scriptural truth about obedience, the force that guarantees multiplied blessings in our life. From Bible, we always see the Lord emphasizing the importance of obeying His commands. In fact, three quarter of the Bible is centered on instructions to obey. And the Bible says: "to obey is better than sacrifice" (1Sam 15:22). Moses used the adjective if we diligently hearken, which means painstaking effort in obedience to divine instructions.

There is one important part of Abraham that I will like us to examine this morning. Abraham, a man who was blessed by God in all things, whose life is worth emulating, was a man of obedience. I find out that obedience to divine instructions is not enough,

Supernatural multiplication answers to those who love God wholeheartedly. As mentioned yesterday, our love for God is tested and proven by our unreserved and timely obedience to His instructions. True love cannot be hidden; it is expressed both in words and in actions. It is not enough to sing and say that we love God; we must also put action to it. Praise is the pathway to our supernatural multiplication from seeds sown. Our smallness in life can be traceable to lack of praise. Today I want us to examine deeper the story of Isaac and see the secrets that he traded that made him to enjoy an enviable increase in his generation. The first thing to note in the life of isaac is the fact that "he had a plan." His plan was to go down to Egypt in search of greener pasture because of the famine that was biting the land so hard. But God interrupted his plan. To Isaac, Egypt looked very attractive and a place to be, away from famine, but to the Almighty God who sees what no one else sees, the land of Gerar was the place where Isaac’s increase and prosperity had been divinely planted.

TEXT: "And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed..." (Matt 14:19)

Still on the story of the feeding of five thousand men, today's anchor scripture revealed that Jesus blessed the five loaves of bread and the two fishes before giving them to the disciples to share to the multitude. The implication is that for anything it multiply it must first be blessed by God. Jesus received the five loaves from them and blessed it. There must be first a seal of God's blessing on anything that will multiply. The Bible says, "and God blessed them and God said unto them....multiply..." (Gen 1:28).

Today's anchor scripture is the Matthew's account on the story of the feeding of five thousand men. Matthew reported that Jesus after giving thanks and breaking the bread, gave it first to the disciples and the disciples to the multitude. This is what I call the principle of delegation. Jesus delegated duties to His disciples. He did His own as the Master while allowing His disciples to do theirs.

Yesterday we started with the story of the feeding of five thousand men with just five loaves and two fishes. It was indeed a miracle and it is incomprehensible - feeding five thousand men with five loaves of bread and two fishes? Trying to explain how Jesus did it will be fruitless and that is why it is a miracle after all.
