TEXT: "And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti" (Esther 2:17)

From the word of God, we understand that God always blesses the righteous and also protects him with the weapon of favour. "For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield" (Ps 5:12) Are you a righteous person? That is a lesson for another day. God preserves and protects a man He puts His favour on from all oppositions and anti-favour moves of men.

This is the kind of favour that was upon Daniel. He and other Israelites were prisoners in Babylon. But for reasons that cannot be explained naturally, Daniel had unusual favour. The Bible says: "Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love..." (Dan 1:9). The Lord shall bring you into favour with your destiny helpers this month, in Jesus name.

We also found in other accounts that Daniel had so much favour with the leaders that he was elevated to prominent positions in the Babylonian kingdom. Even though the circumstances were against him, Daniel eventually became the prime minister of Babylon. Nothing successfully works against a man who carries God's favour.

When the favour of God is upon a man, he will be selected for a good position among many of his qualified counterperts. Esther in today's anchor scripture was selected among several other beautiful ladies that were qualified to be the queen (Esther 2:15-17). That is favour at work. This same favour will find you this month in Jesus name. Be expectant!

PRAYER: The favour of God will single you out for lifting this month in Jesus name.
