TEXT: "Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come" (Ps 102:13).

As we draw the curtain today on the subject of favour, let us conclude with part two on how oil of favour can be sustained. To sustain the oil favour as pointed out yesterday: (1) Be faithful. (2) Be connected to your root. (3) Forgive.

(4) Prompt Obedience: (Gen 22:2-3)
Abraham enjoyed constant favour from God because he lived a life of prompt obedience to God's instructions. Obedience to instructions does not count until it is timely. Delayed obedience is equal to disobedience. When God told Abraham to sacrifice his only son, the Bible says: "Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son..." Every instruction of God has time limit. Obey at His time and not at your own time.

(5) Be Joyful: (Phil 4:4)
Joy is a secret to living in constant favour. Joseph did not complain in spite of the trouble he went through. He was so charming with joy as a slave that the wife of his master asked that she sleep with him. In prison, he was full of joy and was made the head of other prisoners. One way to enjoy constant favour from God is to always display Joy irrespective of what is happening in your life.

(6) Be thankful: (Phil 4:6)
It takes thanksgiving to provoke divine favour and it takes thanksgiving to sustain it. Fresh oil of favour requires a life of daily and constant thanksgiving.

This is where we shall be rounding up for the month. To all our supporters, be blessed, in Jesus name.

PRAYER: The oil of favour on your life shall ever be fresh, in Jesus name.
