TEXT: "And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air...But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord" (Gen 6:7-8)

Our journey on earth as children of God is not ordained to be full of struggles and fruitless. He blessed them and said, be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it...(Gen 1:28). God ordained us to live life to its fullest and that without struggle. Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

The kind of life described above is not attainable in the energy of the flesh. That you are skillful, connected, talented, educated or from wealthy home is inconsequential. By strength shall no man prevail (1Sam 2:9). There are powers that are fighting against one's fulfilment in life and this power cannot be confronted in the energy of the flesh. So, to prevail where others travail, you need the grace of God. Grace is God's unmerited favour.

In Noah's days, they travailed to death because of the flood that swept the whole earth, but Noah found grace in the sight of God. The flood of life may sweep many lives to the grave, but the grace of God will distinguish you in Jesus name. When there is a casting down, you shall be lifted up.

It is the grace of God that makes the journey of man on earth great. The grace of God is the cure for disgrace. The grace is a lifter; it lifted Joseph from prison to the palace overnight.

PRAYER: This grace shall lift you this month in Jesus name.
