TEXT: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matt 6:33)

The realm of favour is the realm where things are simply added to you. When God favours you, you will enjoy addition of good things. But according to today's anchor scripture, our addiction to God and the cause of His kingdom is what guarantees our addition of good things. When you favour His cause, you will enjoy His favour (Ps 102:13-15). When the kingdom of God and His cause is your focus, men will favour you. Jesus' focus was on the kingdom assignment and He found favour with God and men. Same with Samuel (Lk 2:52; 1Sam 2:26).

How to focus on God and His Kingdom?

(1) Be a soul winner: (Matt 28:19-20).

Your partnership with God in reaping souls to His kingdom and getting them established in the Church guarantees unlimited favour. Favour settles with you just because you are touching the heartbeat of God.

(2) Be a giver. A giver who will enjoy favour is someone who gives liberally, regardless of what he has. He never has to be convinced to give because it’s his nature to do so. The Bible says: "In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good" (Eccl 11:6). A giver is prompt to give and always seeks to out-give his past giving. If this description portrays who you are, then you will never lack favour.

PRAYER: Grace to passionately pursue God's agenda on earth so as to enjoy His favour is yours today, in Jesus name.
