OUR INHERITANCE - STRENGTH

TEXT: “I will ask the Father to send you another strengthener (Helper), the Spirit of truth, who will remain constantly with you” (John 14:16 TVT)

As children of God, we have been given different inheritance to obtain. The scripture says that we are born into an inheritance incorruptible, which doesn’t fade away. The whole essence of the death of Christ is for Him to save us and to give us an inheritance such as strength (Read Rev 5:12). 

God's will is for us to consistently increase in strength for a sound fulfillment of His plans for us. It is impossible to attain our desired stature in life and in what is entrusted to us from heaven without strength. We are to continually grow in spiritual, mental, and bodily strength all days. If you're born again, the Spirit of God lives in you to quicken and vitalize your spirit, soul, and body. One of the works of the Holy Spirit is to strengthen us from our inner man to the outer man.

In addition to the above, strength is required to handle the demands of life. This is the reason why our intimacy with God is so important. The more we're close to God the more we're strengthened. God wants us to stand out in our various endeavours in life and to stand out, divine strength is required. The good news is that no matter the demands of life, the strength of God is always available as long as we maintain a close relationship with Him. Those who know Him shall be strong and do exploits (Dan 11:32). The enemy may drop some kinds of health challenges in you, don't accept it because if you are bed-ridden or held down by sickness, you cannot do exploits. You don't have the time to be sick because you have too many things to still do for God.

PRAYER: Receive divine strength now, in Jesus name.
