ATTRACTING DIVINE WISDOM

TEXT: "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding" (Prov 4:7).

I welcome you to a week of testimonies for all lovers of MTD. Wisdom is the principal tool for exploit in the journey of life. To embrace the wisdom of God without reservation is to be relevant in all our fields of endeavour. But to operate in this wisdom is not something that happens automatically. Today's anchor scripture says we're to get it. This means there is something we must do to attract it to our life. The good news is that the Lord is ready to give it to you freely, generously and without shadow of turning. What are ways to attract it?

1. HAVE THE FEAR OF GOD (Prov 9:10)

The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of God positions you to receive God’s wisdom. To have the fear of God is to disassociate yourself from anything evil. The Bible says: "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:.." (Prov 8:13). It was the fear of God that made Joseph to flee from Potiphar’s wife and her request (Gen 39:7-12). He acted in wisdom and this brought him to the throne.

2. STAY WITH THE WISE (Prov 13:20)

Beloved, if you keep company with the wise, it will make you wise. The people you walk with determines the kind of life you live. Walk with the wise and you will become wise, walk with fools and you will be destroyed. You can keep company with wise people through their books and messages. Paul said to the Corinthians that they should follow him even as he followed Christ, and from scriptures we know that Jesus manifested great wisdom throughout His stay on earth (1Cor 11:1, Lk 2:52, Mk 6:2).

PRAYER: I prophesy that divine wisdom shall bail you out this week, in Jesus name.
