BENEFIT OF THE BLESSING

TEXT: "Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee" (Gen 12:1)

Let's look at the benefits of the blessing we're redeemed to inherit using the life of Abraham, a man who carried God's blessing bodily. From scriptures, we discovered that we're redeemed from the curse of the Law that the blessing of Abraham might come on us. The Bible says: "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:...That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles..." (Gal 3:13-14).

Today's anchor scripture is the story of when God told Abraham to leave where he was for a place where he would fulfill destiny. That speaks of divine direction. The blessing of God upon a man gives him divine direction. So the first blessing that Abraham enjoyed as a blessed man and by extension we're to enjoy is DIVINE DIRECTION. Divine direction is so vital because a man who is divinely directed will enviously fulfill destiny here on earth.

Divine direction guarantees preservation. This means, as you are abundantly blessed, these blessings will also be preserved. Every time you locate where God has prepared for you and what He has ordained you to do in life by His direction, He is committed to protecting and preserving you in the pursuit of that assignment (Ex 23:20). Divine direction guarantees divine abundance as well as rendering your enemy helpless. It also terminates tension in your life (Read Ps 23:4).

So, for this blessing to be yours, you must be willing to be led. Embrace every instruction with delight and see God move you from one face of glory to another!
