TEXT: "But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, kept it, and bring forth fruit with patience" (Luke 8:15).

Looking at the categories of people Jesus listed in the parable of the sower, only the people mentioned in today's anchor scripture were fruitful. But their fruitfulness was as a result of certain qualities they possessed. I want us to examine these qualities today as keys that unlock all round fruitfulness.

1. Honesty. "But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest..." Beloved, you must be honest to be fruitful in life. You need to be honest in dealing with people in your journey in life. To be honest is to be sincere, plain, transparent and to be free of deceit. You can't be fruitful when you say A when what you mean is B.

2. Good heart. "..and good heart..." Possessing a good heart is vital because when your heart is bad your life will be bad. What occupies your heart will find expression in your mouth and if you speak unfruitful words always, you can't be fruitful in life. So, guard your heart! (Pro 4:23).

3. Ability to retain the word. "...having heard the word, kept it..." You must possess the ability to retain the word of God in your spirit to be fruitful in life. Many people lack adequate word of God to nurture their life. It is the word of God you keep in your heart and express in words that waters your seed for fruitfulness. When your seed is planted, water it with the word of God and God will command the increase (Ps 119:11; 1 Cor 3:6).

4. Patience. "...and bring forth fruit with patience." You will only obtain the promise of fruitfulness through faith and patience (Heb 6:12).

PRAYER: You shall be fruitful, in Jesus name.
