TEXT: "And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen" (Mark 16:20).

The Apostles in the Bible were a fruitful set of people that ever walked the planet earth. The account of their exploits in the Bible is worth studying. The apostles knew they were called to be with Jesus so He could send them out to preach..." (Mark 3:14-15). If you will be fruitful in life, you must know what you're called to do.

Looking at their lives from today's anchor scripture, we notice two major secrets behind their exploits/fruitfulness. The Bible says:

1. "The Lord was working with them." Beloved, until the Lord works with you, your labour doesn't guarantee returns (Ps 127:1). If you disconnect from God, you already sign in for failure and defeat in life. A product that will sell in the market is determined by its manufacturer. God is our Manufacturer and the height we will attain in this life is determined by Him. So, the secret to all round fruitfulness is for God to work with you.

2. "...and confirming their word with signs following." The lesson here is that God can only work with you, in you and through you when you give Him words to confirm. Until you speak out, God doesn't have what to confirm. Many people are waiting for miracle and the miracle they are waiting for is in their tongues. A wise man said: A closed mouth is a closed destiny. It is time you speak out so as to commit God to that situation. What you say will stay in your life because God is standing by to confirm what you say (Mark 11:23, Isaiah 44:26).

PRAYER: Every positive word you speak today shall come to pass speedily, in Jesus name.
