Luke 2:10 "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."

I wish you merry Christmas once again. I want us to examine further this important event today. Munnroe said: "When a purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable." When you don't know the reason why we celebrate Christmas, abuse of it is inevitable. No wonder many people see the season of Christmas as a period to visit, drink, womanize and all sorts of sinful acts.

I want to say that we celebrate Christmas to remind ourselves of the joy that Christ brought. Today's anchor scripture says: "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."

We are celebrating this Christmas for the following reasons among others:

1. Jesus brought good news.
We are living in the days of bad news. Fear of death by reason of the pandamic that hit the entire world this year has enveloped the world. But Christ came to bring good tidings. You shall partaker of this joy this season! Every spirit of fear is leaving you now, in Jesus name.

2. Jesus came to restore the glory Adam lost.
Before the fall, Adam had no shame around Him. The Bible says: "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed (Gen 2:25). That's the glory of God in action. Is there any shame in your life right now? I declare that by reason of this Christmas, no more shame in your life. The glory of God is wiping away every shame in your life, in Jesus name.

PRAYER: I pray that these and more shall be your experience this season in Jesus name!
