1Thess 5:18 "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

Thanksgiving to God pleases Him. It is not always easy to do so, especially when what you expect isn't yet made manifest, but this is the very thing we must do in order to see God's will accomplished in our lives this season. Thanksgiving is a practical demonstration of our faith in God. It has great power to bring joy and break the power of the enemy of our life. 

Whenever we give thanks to God, despite the difficult circumstances we may be experiencing, the enemy loses a big battle in our life. When we give thanks in the midst of difficulty, we bring pleasure to God's heart. God is looking for those who will live in the realm of praise and thanksgiving where the enemy no longer has the ability to hold or manipulate them. Satan is defeated when we have a thankful heart because thankfulness during difficulty is a sacrifice that is pleasing to God.

Are you thankful for your present life? Thankfulness is a key to your future life. It is the key that turns your situation around because it changes you, your outlook, and your attitude.

PRAYER: I pray for you today that the spirit of gratitude that will cause a sudden change of story in your life be imparted into you this season, in Jesus name!
