Eph 1:18 "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints."

The secret of anyone who has ever achieved anything great and worthwhile in the body of Christ today is rooted in thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is recognizing that God is behind every good thing in your life and appreciating Him accordingly. Until you thank God for the good things in your life, you are not permitted to experience the best from Him. The secret to receiving the best from God is to be thankful always. In lack or in plenty, thank Him. In whatever state you find yourself, be thankful.

There are forces that make thanksgiving exciting. One is the Force of Revelation. The reason many are unthankful today is because they lack revelation. They are unable to see their future because of the situation around them. Listen, the unpleasant experience of your life at the moment is for a moment. It is not permanent. You need to paint a picture of your future from the scripture irrespective of your present situation. This was the secret behind the unwavering thanksgiving of Abraham (Read Rom 4:20-21).

Revelation puts you above frustration. It makes you to laugh in circumstances that should have made you to cry. You can't see where you are going and be held down. My dear, picture yourself from the scriptures and see yourself as revealed by God from His word, it will energize you to be thankful!

PRAYER: As you thank God from your heart this season, you shall not lack what to thank God for the remaining days of your life, in Jesus name.
