TEXT: "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" (Titus 3:5).

The mercy of God is unquestionably powerful mystery that confers mastery on us over molestions and accusations of hell. No wonder, in Matthew chapter 9, we saw the story of two blind men in verses 27 through 30 who cried to Jesus to have mercy on them. While Jesus was going out of Jericho, two blind men again cried to Him for mercy (Matt 20:29-31). According to the book of Mark, our anchor scripture for the month, as Jesus went out of Jericho, blind Bartimaeus cried to him, “Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10:46-48). In all these cases, Jesus granted their requests; the mercy of God prevailed. Beloved, whatever is the negative condition you’re in right now, God's mercy shall prevail and you shall come out gallantly, in Jesus name.

There's need for us to thank God and ask for His mercy consistently. The mercy of God will make all the difference in your life. Hebrews 4:16 says we should come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help when we need it.

Benefit of the mercy of God:

1. Salvation. Nobody gets born again without the mercy of God. The Bible says: "Blessed be the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" (1Pet 1:3 NKJV). It is clear from today's anchor scripture that we are not saved by works of righteousness which we have done, but He saved us according to His mercy. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: I declare today that everything you need shall suddenly come by the force of mercy, in Jesus name.
