TEXT: "Then Peter said to him, “We’ve given up everything to follow you. What will we get?” (Matt 19:27 NLT).
As we draw the curtain for the month today, I want to assure you that this year 2021, is your year of Divine Compensation, saith the Lord! (Matt 19:27-28).
TEXT: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,...then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2Chro 7:14).
As we draw close to the end of the month, I will like to say that if there is anything we all need; It’s the mercy of God. No matter How good or bad we are, we definitely need
TEXT: "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy" (Matt 5:7).
Mercy is the nature and character of God. He expects us His children to exhibit merciful character too. From the scripture, we understand that mercy is the opposite of being cruel.
TEXT: "But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen" (Hos 1:7).
We give glory to God for His mercy in our lives. We are alive today because His mercy kept us.
TEXT: "The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust" (Ruth 2:12).
Let me remind us again of the prophetic focus for MTD for the year 2021. This is to empower our expectations. God said, this year 2021, in MTD Family, is our year of: "Divine Compensation" (Matt 19:27-28). He is too faithful to fail us.
TEXT: "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" (Titus 3:5).
The mercy of God is unquestionably powerful mystery that confers mastery on us over molestions and accusations of hell. No wonder, in Matthew
TEXT: "It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not" (Lam 3:22).
Let me start by saying that God's mercy is more than a practice; it is a working spirit that sees us through difficult times. When we fall short of God’s glory, His mercy draws us back to Him.
TEXT: "And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; He calleth thee" (Mark 10:49).
The mercy of God is beyond what our minds can phantom. The Bible says: "While we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us (Rom 5:8). That is a mystery that mesmerises our
1Cor 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
Again today, I want to remind you of the prophetic focus for MTD for the year 2021.
Mark 10:49 "And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, be of good comfort, rise; He calleth thee"
One of the primary blessings that come along with the mercy of God is comfort. To comfort is to ease someone of pain or to relief of stress.
Gen. 19:19 "Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life..."
The mercy of God carries amazing blessings beyond our comprehension. No matter the magnitude of your needs in life, it can be met on the platform of God's mercy.
Zechariah 1:16 "Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem."
I want to start by saying it is our personal discovery of who we are and what God says about us that guarantees our recovery.
Mark 10:49 "And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; He calleth thee."
There's one thing to have and we will have all our needs met, it is the mercy of God.
Hebrews 6:10 "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister."
I want to bring to our remembrance today the prophetic focus for MTD for the year 2021 so as to know what to expect in the year.
I welcome you to February 2021. I have no doubt that we are all set to run with divine mandate for the 2021 as MTD Family and as individuals following the revelations we were all exposed to in the month of January on the subject of vision.
