Job 42:10 "And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before." 

Engaging in prayer for the needs of others is one of the secrets to obtaining answers to our own needs. We received a divine instruction in the beginning of the month that all Saturdays this month, we should intercede for the needs of others.

This instruction is in line with what the Bible says. 

In Philippians, Paul tells us to put others ahead of our needs and to consider the needs of others more important than our own. He said: “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.” (Phil 2:3-4 NASB).

Our human nature is to do the opposite. Our first thought is always to pray for our own needs. It is humility that allows us to pray for others earnestly. And by offering prayers for the needs of others and sharing their burdens, our burdens seem lighter. 

PRAYER GUIDELINES FOR MTD (Pls pray earnestly on these requests).

1. Let's thank God for His grace that has kept MTD going for these 7years, in Jesus name. 

2. Thank Him for all the testimonies in the lives people via this medium, in Jesus name. 

3. Let's pray that the word of God via MTD will find free course and be glorified in all nations of the world, in Jesus name.

4. Let's pray for God to sustain every soul that surrendered to Jesus via this platform, in Jesus name.

5. Let's ask God to renew the strength of His servant for tireless pursuit of MTD mandate, in Jesus name. 

As we round up this exercise today, whatever burden that is left in your life shall be lifted, in Jesus name.
