Gen 12:4 "So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran."
When God blesses a man, it will result to laughter. But how do you provoke the blessing of God?
Let's use Abraham as a case study. To experience the blessing of God in any area is to follow examples of those who are blessed. A follower of examples will not fail any examination. The Bible says: "That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises" (Heb 6:12). Abraham's lifestyle is worth following if his blessing is worth claiming.Abraham was supposedly a failure. He was living in his father's house at age 75 without an heir. A man we can call today as a nonentity, without a business or career breakthrough, with no future in view. But, this same man rose from being a nonentity to a celebrity. We can't talk of the blessing of God today without mentioning his name. I pray for you today, you will end this year well, in Jesus name.
One outstanding character of Abraham is: "Obedience to divine instructions. Obeying God's instructions always ends a man in distinction. That's the secret of Abraham. God told him to leave for the unknown destination and he obeyed. He left in faith looking for a city which Builder and Maker is God (Heb 11:8-10). What did God tell you to do? Are you still dragging your feet? Remember, delayed or partial obedience is disobedience before God. Let your obedience to divine instructions be timely and total (John 2:5).
PRAYER: You will not fail God and destiny, in Jesus name.
