POWER TO HEAL

Mk 3:14-15 "And he ordained  twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might
  send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils."

By way of introduction, we realize from the word of God that God’s divine purpose for us is to have total health. God has made a sickness-free provision for us all and He wants us to know and walk in that. The Bible says in our anchor scripture for this month that: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (3John 2).

The truth is that God has done everything possible for you and I to live in good health.

One of the provisions in the scriptures for our total health is Power - Power of the Holy Ghost. God’s principal channel through which power flows is the Holy Ghost. "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you" (Acts 1:8). Every sickness is an oppression of the devil and to subdue all oppressions of the devil, power is needed (Acts 10:38; Ps 66:3).

When Jesus saw Peter’s mother in-law, He stood over her, rebuked the foul spirit of fever tormenting her. Jesus could see an oppression behind that fever and He knew He was anointed to heal all that were oppressed of the devil.

Beloved, it takes power for the oppressor to bow. The Holy Ghost in us is the Power needed to dislodge the devil lf oppression. Why don't you ask God to fill you with His Spirit now?

PRAYER: Be empowered, in Jesus name.
