Exo 34:21 "Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest."

When the battery runs low on your phone or tablet, you plug it into power to recharge, right? Sadly, many of us don’t realize we can do the same for ourselves with just a little rest. The Bible says: "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made" (Gen 2:2). If the Almighty God Himself rested, don't you think you're putting Him to test for not resting?

It is very important that we always refresh our biological system by taking some time out to rest as a way of life. It helps to boost our immune system to fight again sickness and disease. Someone rightly said: "People who fail to rest will soon be laid to rest." That won't be you in Jesus name. But you need to take out time to rest.

Irrespective of your work load, pressures or whatever excuses you may have, sickness is at the corner waiting to arrest you if you fail to have enough rest. You know what? If you commit suicide with the excuse of being busy, the world will still go on. Please take time out to rest and sickness will not be your regular visitor.

PRAYER: Wisdom is yours, in Jesus name.
