1Tim 4:8 "For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come."
I did mention last week that even though the price for our total health has been fully paid by Christ, the delivery of it is absolutely our individual responsibility. We need to also take physical responsibility for our health. No short-cut to it, there are physical demands to good health aside scriptural demands. These we must also take to heart.
So many people today have refused to include exercising as part of their daily routine. This is a wrong thing to do. Apart from what the above scripture says about it, health practitioners always advocate that we exercise regularly for healthy living.
Beloved, we need sound health and a well exercised body to have the physical energy to do the good works which the Lord has ordained that we walk in them (Eph 2:10). This is why we must factor in exercise into our daily routine. There are different kinds of exercise you can do. Do a research on them and find the one suitable for you and that can fit into your schedule.
Our anchor scripture for the month (3John 2) makes it clear that God wishes that we be in health always and exercising is one of the ways to ensure that.
PRAYER: That health challenge is over today, in Jesus name.
