Heb 6:12 "That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."
The Bible also says: "For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise." (Heb 10:36) The word that is out of many people's dictionary today is patience. We're too in a hurry. We desire to have something and it must be now! Some call it faith, but it is not. If you have faith, you will be patient with God over some things in your life. Patience is one of the proofs of faith. The Bible says "...he that believeth shall not make haste." (Isaiah 28:16b). When you see yourself being anxious over any issue, check it, your faith is fading.
In our world today, many are waiting on God and at same time they are impatient. To wait and to be patient are not the same. We need to understand this. Patience is not the ability to wait as some define it, but the ability to have a positive attitude while waiting. David said "I waited patiently on the LORD, and He inclined to me..." (Ps 40:1). Your waiting must have a trait of patience for God to answer you.
The attitude you put up while waiting is a direct product of your patience or impatience and this will determine when your answers will come. You remember the case of Abraham? The Bible says while he was waiting on God for the promised Isaac he did not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief but he was strong in faith giving glory to God (Rom 4:20). Don't let impatience rob you of your increase. Beware!
PRAYER: Your supernatural increase is manifesting now, in Jesus name.
