GOD IS THE SOURCE OF INCREASE

1Cor. 3:6 "I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase."

The Bible says: "If the foundation be destroyed; what can the righteous do?" (Ps 11:3). Durability of any building is determined by
its foundation. The foundation I want us to lay as regard Supernatural Increase is that, you must know that "Increase only comes from God." Every other thing we shall say this month will be built on this foundation.

God is behind every genuine increase. Thank God for the skill you have, thank God for the job you do and the connection you have. But all these do not automatically translate to increase. There are many hard workers that are still in lack today. Hard work outside God results in hard life. Skill without God can kill. Certificate does not certify increase in life, only God does.

God is the Originator of all increase. In today's text, apostle Paul says I plant and Apollos waters, but God alone guarantees the increase. Even if you're correctly positioned, only God determines your increase. You're positioned rightly when you obey commands. When you observe to do His commandment, you commit His integrity to perform His word in your life.

None of us is an achiever; we are only receivers of what He gives. The moment you see yourself as an achiever, you're on your way down. Ask king Nebuchadnezar in the Bible (Daniel 4:30-37). He saw himself as the doer of the exploits in his kingdom, and his heart was exchanged with the heart of an animal. God humiliated him.

Beloved, don't wait for God to humiliate you like Nebuchadnezar. Recognize Him behind every exploit you see in your life.

PRAYER: As God increases you this month, grace to remain level-headed is yours, in Jesus name.
