Matt 13:18-19 "Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side."


Supernatural Increase is a function of seed that you sow as I mentioned times and again. But beloved, not all seeds sown that bring forth harvest. Jesus pointed out from the above scripture why this is so. There are four categories of people who by virtue of who they are and what they do determines the returns on their seeds. The first set of people mentioned in today's text are the people that sow without understanding. Understanding is what makes what you do a delight. You need to give with understanding if you don't want to lose your harvest.

Giving with understanding is what differentiate the given of Abel from that of Cain (Read Gen 4). When you lack the understanding of what to give, how to give, where to give it and to whom to give, the devil easily comes to steal the word of God from heart and if care is not taken, you consider given as unnecessary. That's a trick of the devil.

Don't be a 'wayside believer' if you will enjoy supernatural increase. Search the scriptures to secure understanding on giving. It is the understanding you receive that makes your given a delight. Don't be cajoled or pushed to give because if there be first a willing mind, then your given is acceptable...(2 Cor 8:12). Willingness is a function of understanding.

PRAYER: I pray for you today that by virtue of your giving, bumper harvest shall flood your life from today, in Jesus name.
